- First of all, scope of acceptable material: We only publish web
pages that relate to residential airparks and residential airpark
living. This would include:
- Residential airparks.
- Property (homes or lots) at residential airparks.
- Services or products that relate to residential airparks (such
as the Guidebooks)
- If the page you're ordering is for an airpark or airpark property,
check the AIRPARKS.COM List of Residential Airparks (click
here) to be sure the airpark is listed. If not, please send us
the information on the airpark using the list form (click
here). If you don't have all the information, that's ok, just
send us as much as you can and please also send us updates when you
find out additional information.
- Decide what type of page you want:
- Basic, single page
- Upgrade page, either multiple pages or with active components
such as the slideshow
- Gather the text and photos you want to use, and consider how you
want the layout to look. Please include the airport identifier, and
postal address for homes/lots (we organize airparks.com URL's by airport
identifier and postal address). Look at other pages in AIRPARKS.COM
for examples to help you get an idea of what you want, but don't let
them limit your imagination. If you ask us to do something that doesn't
work well with web publishing, we'll tell you so and propose an alternative.
Remember, this is your opportunity to have your airpark, property
or product shout BUY ME! to our guests!
- Use the Services Request
Form to contact us. We will respond with an email. If you don't
have email or digital photos, send hardcopy materials to the postal
address listed below.
- Email text and digital photos to us, along with a description of
how you want the layout to look.
- We will create the page, and put it on the web server where you
can access it. We will notify you when the proof is ready by sending
you an email with the link to the page.
- When you get the "proof ready" notice, you can look at
the page and provide us any corrections. We may go through several
proof /change cycles before it's ready to publish.
- When the page is ready to publish, you will need to pay for the
page before we can link it in. We apologize for this inconvenience,
however we have had several clients who have delayed payment excessively.
You may pay for the page using credit card via PayPal
(click here) or via check. If you pay by check, we will wait until
we receive the check before linking in the page. Receipts are sent
via email.
- The initial payment covers 6 months, after the first six months
payment can be made month to month. Most of our clients choose to
pay several months at a time.
- We "link in" the page by doing the following:
- Add the "slide" photo to the group of slides shown
on the AIRPARKS.COM front page (the AIRPARKS.COM tab). For guests
who have javascript enabled browsers, the "slides" start
with a random slide in the group, and then cycle through the group.
The slide is also a link to the page -- for instance, when the
Cross-Country Estates slide is showing, clicking on the slide
will take the guest to the Cross-Country Estates page.
- Add the entry for the web page in the appropriate tab page,
ala "Airparks", or "Homes", etc. This entry
consists of a thumbnail photo, and links to the page.
- When your time is about to run out, we will invoice you via email.
- When the page is cancelled, or when payment becomes two weeks past
due, we will disable the page by removing the slide, tab page entry,
and disabling the page URL. Once a page has been disabled, the minimum
6 month will be required to re-enable the page.
- Updates and corrections, within reason, are welcome during the term
of the page. Reasonable means minor text changes or a new photo, one
change every two months. If you're not sure go ahead and ask for the
change, we'll tell you if we need to charge for the change before
it's made. As always, email is preferred.
