Cross-Country Estates

What's Unique about Cross-Country Estates?

Cross-Country Estates is one of two airport communities in the Austin TX area. (The other community is Breakaway Park). Austin is an economic powerhouse, including the Texas state government, several major universities including the University of Texas at Austin, hi-tech industries including chip manufacturing, software development and others.

Cross-Country Estates is designed to provide you the pilot with all the conveniences and economy of a well-designed airport community, PLUS being a quality neighborhood where you'll be proud to entertain your non-pilot guests.

The runway is 35/17, 2500' x 75' plus 150' right-of-way and 200' over-runs on both ends (2900' x 150' right-of-way), grass (coastal bermuda), 30°37'30"N 97°34'22"W, halfway between the Georgetown (GTU) and Taylor airports. Our designator is 07TS.

O Located close enough to Austin to enjoy the conveniences of Austin shopping, commuting and health services, yet far enough away to avoid the city bustle and enjoy Georgetown's small town atmosphere. The community is nestled amongst farms, ranchland, and dairy farms.
O Protective covenants to guarantee the quality of the neighborhood, provide for a strong neighborhood association to build community and caretaking of common areas.
O Streets and taxiways are completely separate. This helps to avoid accidents when non-pilot guests come to call.
O ALL lots have taxiway access to the runway.
O All underground utilities: water, electric, and phone. The water is supplied by Jonah Water Supply, which serves most of the area between Georgetown and Taylor
O Each lot (except ranchettes) is within a 500' radius from a fire hydrant, supplied by a 6" water main.
O In order to protect the neighborhood atmosphere, there are no public on-site storage or service facilities, however services and fuel are available at Georgetown or Taylor, both within 8 miles.
O Hutto School district: highly recommended by neighbors with school-aged children.
O Walk to the tree-covered San Gabriel River.
O Close to the Highland Lakes, Lake Georgetown and Granger Lake.
O Convenient shopping in Georgetown: several major grocery stores, and some of the best (and reasonably priced!) antique stores in Texas!
